AACOMAS processing

Hi guys. I have a question about how long I can expect my AACOMAS to process for. My transcript and MCAT scores were received on August 6, and I submitted the application before then. It's now September 28 and it still says "processing." Is this normal? Thanks!

Yeah, the processing time at this time in the cycle is probably 6-8 weeks. Check out http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=633999 to see how long it's taking everyone else.

Yeah I emailed them today, they are completing 8/4 apps today. So you will be verified soon, I am a good week away **** even though it has been 6 week+

How in the world are they still only processing the first week of August!?? Is this normal for AACOMA's or is it particularly bad this year?? It seems like it is going to waterlog the whole process for most of us...

Yes, it is just a thing of this year... last year I was verified promptly at 6 weeks and I'm about approaching 8 this year (submitted 8/4). I just keep reminding myself that we're all in the same boat, so it's not like tons of people are way ahead of you.

Yeah we are in the same boat, but then you realize all the people verified already and are about to submit secondaries and be on top of the game. I don't know this waiting period is absurd, you would think AACOMAS would go faster, and try to be better than AMCAS site but nope.

If you're still processing, go here for the secondary application prompts. Get rolling on those so that you can be ready to turn around your secondaries right away and make up for a little lost time.
