Hi guys,

I am a Texas resident and a 26 year old cancer researcher applying to med school this cycle. I have a quick question about the aacomas application. I have already applied through TMDSAS, but wanted a DO letter for my aacomas application and am going to shadow a DO soon to receive a letter. Should/can I go ahead and submit my aacomas applicaton without the letter and send my DO letter to the specific schools? Not really sure the process of how this work so any advice would be much appreciated!

I used Interfolio (https://www.interfolio.com/), which lets your letter writer(s) send or upload the letter to that service themselves and then holds onto it for you. You can then have it electronically sent to any school you want, plus they'll retain it for you in case you need it again.

I'm not sure how it works if you use AACOMAS, but with Interfolio I went ahead with AACOMAS verification and once it had been verified and my primary sent out then I just forwarded my letters via Interfolio.
