So I've been trying to contact aacomas and every time I call I keep getting a recording saying that their offices are closed! I called last wed, thur, this past monday and today! Since I can't get ahold of them I figured maybe you SDNers could help me out. I want to add a school to my application, how do I go about it and how much is the fee to add one additional school? Will adding an additional school delay my app? Also, I received grades for this past semester and I want the schools to see them. Plus they raise my overall and science a bit, and any little bit helps. Should I send the updated transcripts to aacomas or directly to the schools? If I send the transcripts to aacomas will it significantly delay my app? Thanks! 😀

Send all transcripts directly to your schools. They will not recieve them if you send them to AACOMAS.

If your application has already been processed and sent, then you cannot edit the application.

You may send a completely new application for that one additional school. Just do it as you did it the first time. The fees can be found on the application website for "one school."

To update your transcripts, send copies to the schools directly.

Additional College Designations

If you want to apply to additional colleges after your initial application has entered AACOMAS processing, write to AACOMAS by each additional school's application deadline date and include the appropriate fee. Your letter should include the following information:

1. List the school name(s) that you want to add.
2. Print and sign your name.
3. List your Social Security Number.
4. Enclose a money order.

The fee for applying to additional colleges is:

* $50.00 for the first additional school
* $90.00 for two additional schools
* $125.00 for three additional schools
* $150.00 for four additional schools
* $175.00 for five additional schools
* $200.00 for six additional schools
* And $30.00 for each subsequent school beyond six.

If you were granted an AACOMAS Fee Waiver, you must pay the amount on the Fee Schedule listed on the College Designation Form (CDF) beginning with your fourth designation.

There's a form on their website that you can download, fill out, and send for adding extra schools. It won't affect your original application processing time.

Updating Your Applicant Profile

"While AACOMAS processing is generally completed once your materials reach your designated colleges, you may want to update Applicant Profile information with MCAT scores or new course information.

AACOMAS should be informed in writing of any change in biographic information reported on the Applicant Profile. When informing AACOMAS of a change in legal residence, provide both the county and the state.

To update your Academic Record with new course work, contact the registrar at the institution you are currently attending to request an official transcript, showing the addition of the updated course work, be forwarded to AACOMAS. Transcripts should be postmarked by February 15 to be included in final processing.

Once you view your updated profile, examine it and report any discrepancies to AACOMAS."
