Hello,

I have a question regarding the AACOMAS course repeat policy. I graduated from a school that ran on the quarter system, but have decided to go back to school to retake a few courses. The school I am currently enrolled in runs on the semester system and I am confused as to what is considered an equivalent course. For example, I am planning on retaking a lower division molecular biology course (life science 3 at UCLA) I took totaling 5 quarter units. The only molecular biology course offered at the university I'm enrolled in is 3 semester units (BIOL 4320 at University of Houston) and it's considered an upper division course. Would those be considered equivalent courses?😕
I went on an emailed AACOMAS the same question, but I am hopeful someone had an answer on this board.

Thanks in advance

This is a question for AACOMAS. Call them and ask and then post the answer here for the benefit of others.
