AACOMAS Transmission Question

I submitted my AACOMAS, it has been verified, but I still need to add in my experiences ( I only have 2 in and didn't finish completing that section to get verified early). Since it's verified and transmitted to schools at this point, as I add new experiences in will schools see them come up or will they have to re-download my application or something? Do I need to notify each school individually so they're not left with this current version of my AACOMAS which was verified/transmitted to them today and only has 2 exps?

Yes, you’ll need to add them after and then you’ll need to notify each school so they go back into the AACOMAS service and redownload your updated app. Some schools do this periodically, some don’t.

It’s gonna look a bit weird that you left out all of your ECs first time around. And if you don’t have sufficient ECs and schools have already reviewed your app they may just reject you before waiting for them to be updated.

I’d add your ECs and notify schools of the update ASAP.

Thanks for clearing it up. Do you know any schools that don't do this automatically and ones that I should definetly notify? Also, if I was verified today, and submit completed with all my EC's by the end of tomorrow, do you think it will be fine to go without notifying since they may not have even gotten to my app by then or no?

Does the app get downloaded as soon as its transmitted to schools (at the time of transmission), or does it get downloaded when schools actually open it up to review it (when they get to your place in the line)?

It's my understanding that schools download apps in batches. Just email them informing them of the update, why take chances?
