AACOMAS transmission

hey guys! i submitted my AACOMAS on july 10th. when i check the status, it still says they have not received my transcripts and thus they obviously haven't transmitted my applications. i requested my transcripts to be sent on july 10th also, so i'm getting worried as to why AACOMAS says they dont have it. should i be worried? how long did it take for them to update ur transcripts? thanks!

My experience and that of some other applicants this year is that AACOMAS for some reason doesn't seem to update the website promptly or has too much mail to open and doesn't seem to get to the transcripts quickly.

Don't worry, they probably have your transcripts but haven't updated the web yet. In my situation, it took more than a month for the website to show my transcripts as "received", and exactly one day after both my transcripts were shown received, my E-profile appeared and my application was transmitted to all schools. That leads me to believe that they received my transcripts and checked my courses without updating the web, and by the time they got around to updating my status on the web everything was finished.

Can you check the website for transcript receipts before you submit? I can't seem to find out if they have my transcripts or not. I got an email from AMCAS....

i called aacomas today, and they said that they are still looking through mail received on or before July 17th. they say they have one of my transcripts but havent updated it in the status check online.

Soleil9, i dont know if u can check the status of things before you submit. i requested everything to be sent the same day that i submitted my aacomas. good luck!
