AACOMAS verification & secon timeline

I submitted my AACOMAS yesterday (I know, I'm kinda late), and when I e-mailed them to ask them when I'll get my app verified, they wrote,
"You application is scheduled to be mailed on 09/22/06."
Has anyone had experience with them in the past with this? Are they true to their word? Of course, given the assumption that they won't find any discrepancies with transcript & courses entered.

Also, how soon do these schools screen/(or not) and send out their secondaries? My GPA is 3.9 with 25Q (10B, 8P, 7V). Do they usually e-mail it within a week, if you meet min. reqs?

If we send out now, are we really late in the game??

I have known a few people who had applied about now and still gotten in. They told me that the main thing is to get an interview during fall semester. Cuz' after that, you're just interviewing for alternative slots.

The other thing is that I don't beleive ADCOMS start looking at the August MCATers applications until their scores arrive--which I think is about mid-Octoberish. That's the traffic you wanna beat.
