Sorry if this is a duplicate post and sorry for all the numbers! AACP posted the number of degrees conferred and the numbers of students enrolled. The data is always a year behind.
Actual number of degrees awarded:
2015 13994
2016 14556
2017 14502
2018 14905
Size of class of 20XX (as of Sept 2018)
2019 15021
2020 15008
2021 15633
2022 13546
Looking at the previous year's report from Fall 2017, the class of 2018 was 14965. So 99.6% of them (14905) ended up getting a degree. If that rate held true with the class of 2019, then the number of degrees conferred in 2019 was 14961 (estimate).
The class of 2022 is significantly smaller than the class of 2021, because the 3-year schools didn't yet form that class. The size of the class of 2021 of the 3-year schools was 2054, if I added correctly. If class size holds steady, then the class of 2022 is now 15600 (estimate).
