Hi all
My transcripts were just received today and I e-submitted/paid today as well. How long did it take you to get the transcripts processed and sent to the schools? I have looked at the other threads, but was just wondering how long it would be for this time period in the cycle.

It took a week or two bc they mass mail out the applications once or so a week.

The service sends out apps every Wednesday. It took them 2 business days to verify my info. However, the number of ppl applying has significantly increased right now so u should expect a delay perhaps 4-5 business days.

I did mine about a month ago and it took a week to start getting emails from some schools.

I have a question concerning the aacpmas vs. sending materials to the individual schools.

Do i have to send copies of mcat scores, transcripts, etc. to both the aacpmas AND each individual school, or will the aacpmas send the materials to each school once everything is verified and you have indicated which schools you are applying to and all? Im confused because on the NYCPM website it is saying that hard copies of materials have to be sent directly to NYCPM and they give an address and all.
Does this mean that in addition to sending everything to aacmpas you also have to individually give them hard copies?

No. I sent only to AACPMAS nothing to NYCPM. The verification is a huge step because otherwise people might forge their transcripts, etc.

Most schools want you to submit to both AACPMAS and the school.
But to save money, submit first to AACPMAS and then if are invited to an interview, ask the admission advisor if they need your transcripts sent to the school before the interview. Most of the time, they don't need them because they can get them from AACPMAS.
