yeah, i noticed that 😕 you should call up the schools you're still waiting on and ask if they participate with the academic update. if they don't, then you won't need to send it in (perhaps you could just send the schools a transcript if you want to update them).

I noticed that too, but what if you have been accepted somewhere but that's not necessarily where you are going (you are still waiting on other schools)?? Should you still fill out the form? Or, if you got accepted to any dental school, regardless if you are going or not, you should not fill out the form?
i took it to mean only fill it out if
1) you are still waiting to hear from some schools before deciding and
2) only if those you are waiting on participate in the update (call the school to find out).

does anyone know if I can possible just send my transcripts to the schools instead of filling out the academic update form.
The thing is is that one course, physics 2, that I said I would be taking at my college, I had to take at another college. The academic update form has a space where you can enter a new school code. However, if I enter the school code of the school in which i took that physics 2 course, i will be changing the school code for the whole semester and it will look as if i took all of my classes for that semester at that other school.
I don't know what to do. I don't know how to show them that i only took one course at that school and 4 others in my regular school.

I called up one school to ask about these forms and they encouraged me to just send any new transcripts right to them. what i would do if i was you would be first call the school and ask if they accept actual transcripts. if they say yes then order all the transcripts from the schools sent to you, then put the 2 transcripts in one envelope with a short note explaining the situation, then send it all off as a package to the school.

Does anyone know how long it takes to processes the adademic update?
One of my transcripts will ony be ready by January 15th! That is just so ridiculous. I might take a chance and go there on the 3rd and beg them to input my grade ASAP. Plus this is a grade for Physics II, not some BS class, So its kind of important.
