I have a 4.0 and 29 DAT DO I HAVE A CHANCE AT MY STATE-SCHOOL?!?!

Nah, j/k. So I set up an AADSAS App like a month ago to get a headstart on it and I noticed that I can no longer log in. It seems as if the AADSAS app closed so does that mean my app was deleted and I have to create another? Thanks!

yes, you have to create another app for 2011-2012 application cycle; it will launch on june 1, 2011 as it says on the website.

So there is no way to create the app early to get a headstart?

Also, there is no way that your DAT scores could be received BY June 1st considering they don't open until then, so it would take 3-4 weeks after June1st right?

Yup, you have to wait. Trust me, schools wont even care about your DAT scores now. It is good to have your application in early just for placement. When they start reviewing applications (months down the road) you will be at the head of the pile. Applying early is always great.

Ah, what I was asking was if I take the DAT in say, April.. and I requested them to be sent to AADSAS would they be processed by opening day or would I have to wait for 3-4 weeks AFTER the opening day. Basically this is helping me decide when to take the test. If they get processed by June 1st ill take it early, if not ill take it in May

The thing is your DAT scores wont be processed by AADSAS because you don't have a 2012 account... which will open up in June. It did take a few weeks for my DAT scores to be processed, but because you will be REALLY early, I think it will be much sooner. Just so you know you will be extremely early in the application game. Even up until August is considered early. You'll be fine. I suggest taking your test in May. Some extra study time never hurts.

You good?

Please don't cross-post the same question on multiple forums, for the most part we read all the dental forums, so it isn't necessary. I've answered your question on the DAT forum.

To summarize: as long as you take the test on or before May 1st, your scores will automatically reach your AADSAS application in early June, as they will have gone through the 3-4 weeks of verification (by the ADA). The reason you cannot guarantee transmittance on June 1st is because AADSAS receives scores in weekly batches.

So take the thing when you're ready, don't rush, but not much later than May 1st if you want your scores in as early as possible.

Thanks, I feel more informed too. Lol, even though I already applied.
