Hello,

I moved to the US from South Korea 10 years ago.
Even though I lived in the states for 10 years, English is my second language.
Learning English has been an obstacle for my education and I worked hard to overcome this difficulty.

I was wondering if this could be counted as a disadvantaged status?

Thank you!!

Well I mean, if you could write a compelling story to explain how you are disadvantaged maybe you can have a disadvantaged status

hmm. I don't think that would count...
I came from S. Korea 8 years ago, and Engl was my second language as well
but there are soooo many students like us that I don't think it would count as being disadvantaged.
but that's my personal opinion.
