hi all,

i don't know if this has been asked before and i apologize if it has, but my question pertains to the "term taken" for completed coursework. specifically, i attended my undergrad in Canada where we had full-year classes, meaning you start in september and the class ends in june. so the question is, do i count this as fall term (when class started) or winter term (when class ended).

the class title appears in both terms on the transcript, but the course grade only appears in the winter term when the class ended.

i have called AADSAS but no one was there to pick up and i will try again. but if anyone has any insights they'd like to share, it would be much appreciated. thanks very much

Hmm.. I would either mark the terms as semesters, then split the hours up evenly and give the same grade for each term OR list each course individually with the terms as units--but this option seems pretty tedious.

I would definitely include courses you are going to be taking. I'm pretty sure you can change it even if you have submitted it already (but double check that). Once you have the grades for the courses, AADSAS allows you to update your grades and send in new transcripts.

Yes, you can indicate planned classes on AADSAS. And you can update them later when you get grades.

Since someone at AADSAS has to certify that your app matches your transcript exactly, you should list the course under both semesters, but only input the grade in the 2nd semester.

it won't let you input a course without a corresponding grade though

I'm paying this massive sum of loot to apply, and submitting transcripts through a process that requires matching forms, and yet I have to sit here and input every single class I've taken!?! (looks at the pile of 6 matching forms, a tear forms) This application is a serious bitch.

qk: I'd just put down the semester ended with the grade, they'll see it on your transcripts just fine.

I'm wondering this also, because I have some classes that run for 1 semester, and some for 2 entire ones. Anyone with experience on this?
