In high school, I took several AP courses. While these did not get me out of any university requirements, they did count towards the 128 required credits for graduation. Do I report these on AADSAS?

If it is listed on your college transcript then yes.

wait really? i thought AP classes didnt count b.c there's no grade for them...

If you AP class is on your college transcripts, then YES, you MUST report this to AADSAS.

=========

E.g. - High school student takes post-secondary class at University. The class is College Calculus I.

The students college transcript will report the grade of course on their college academic record (even though he is in high school) because it's a college level course.

Therefore, the student must declare this to AADSAS.

ok then i have many ap classes to declare, they all show on my unofficial transcript so im assuming they will be on the official...

what do i do when it comes to the grade for them then... just n/a or something? on my transcrip its listed as a TR for transfer but i dont have the grades for them anymore anywhere i took these classes my sophomore junior and senior years of hs at my HS.

Q: How do I list Advanced Placement (AP) coursework?
A: List the college/university that originally posted your Advanced Placement coursework in the Colleges Attended section. Then, in the Coursework section, enter the AP courses for which you received credit. Indicate in the "special designations" section that the courses are AP.

I took post secondary classes in high school, and they were college classes.

So I'm assuming I can just report these as "normal" college courses.

Anyone have any input on this?

I would assume so, and you'd just list them as you would any other college course. That's my guess.

From what I understand, we list out courses on a term-by-term basis. Does this mean our course list is subdivided into semesters on the application? If so, how do we date AP classes that were completed in high school, if they appear on a college transcript?

what i've been doing is counting it as the summer after whatever year of hs i took the AP exam so for my junior year would be 2006 and then entering them all in with no grade.

are these credit hours going to be used to determine our grades cuz if so im dropping to like a 2.0 cuz i transfered in 29 ap credits none of which have a grade

In the spot where it asks for AADSAS grades of AP exams, did you put "No Grade" or "Credit"?

yea i did the NG, so i guess my gpa will be unaffected thank god..i just kinda think this is pointless for us to do/stress over when they're getting our transcripts anyway

I have a REALLY weird grade on my CC transcript, a "Z" (no grade given yet) for a intro bio lab.

It was a combined lab with lecture course that I took back in 2004!

I don't think I'll ever get a grade, nor do I think I was intended to get a grade.

I listed on AADSAS "NG".
