I'm researching the whole dental school application process, and a friend of mine that happens to be a dental student told me that the AADSAS calculated GPA is actually different from the one that appears on the university transcript. Is this true?
If so, what is the basis of AADSAS's calculations? Does it depend on what type of college you complete your coursework at? For example I did a couple years of community college....If I had a GPA of 3.6, will AADSAS calculate it to be less than that because of the fact that it's not a four year university?? Or does a course taken at an ivy league school count for more than a course from a regular state university😕??
