Hey I called AADSAS today to get my number....they gave me a 9 digit number. I thought your AADSAS number was what order of applicant you were (like #367 is the 367th application they processed). So far they say they have processed slightly over 1000 applications. Little confused so thanks.

The number you probably got was something like 200500xxx. It is my understanding that the "2005" indicates that your application is in the 2005 cycle. The numbers following the "2005" are your actual AADSAS application number that people refer to on this forum. When I send things to the schools, I have been writing out my AADSAS number with the full 9-digit code to prevent any confusion with students of the 2004 cycle. Hope this helps!

The above poster is correct. AADSAS told me the same thing. I use my full 9-digit number in my correspondence with the schools.

That's weird, the number I got was 20040XXX....and I apply this year. For the people who applied this year, did your number start w/ 2004 or 2005?
