AADSAS Question

Since I can't call AADSAS right now I'll send this out to SDN world. So let me start by saying that I have a B.A. in Dental Hygiene, but I DO NOT have any real world hygiene experience outside of the 130-ish patients I saw in school. I also have an EFDA certification and have completed roughly 55 restorations on living, breathing patients and several hundred on typodont teeth. So what I didn't know is if the Dental/Shadowing Experience category was limited to shadowing & volunteer/paid work or am I able to put my school experience in there? Also in the background information there is a question about activities that you are proficient at that require manual dexterity. Do you think I would be able to talk about my hygiene and EFDA experience in there as well or is that just assumed once they see my degree?

I would most definitely mention your hygiene experience in the manual dexterity portion. As for the first question, I'm not sure, sorry!

I remember passing by a section on the AADSAS near the bottom in a checkbox where it asked if you have a dental hygiene degree. I would also put it on your voluntary/work portion of the shadowing/work experience.
