Okay, so I submitted my application today to 1 designated school, mainly because I don't have the $$$ to be throwing at AADSAS right now to designate more schools.

My question is, if I designate schools in a month, will the schools get my application slower than if I submitted it today? The reason I ask is that AADSAS takes 4-8 weeks to do whatever it needs to do after GPA's are verified... so I wasn't sure if adding schools a little later would slow it down at all.

Thanks.

oh yeah,
same here, I was wondering that too, I was gonna submit my application but hell it cost a whole lota cash, so can we like submit to 3-4 schools right now n then after we took our DAT, if we did good enough then apply to more schools, does it make sense?

You can definitely do that. But, some schools (ex> Nova) start reviewing very early that your chance for an interview may be decreased by late submission.

I guess basically what I am wondering is how long it takes for materials to be sent to schools after everything is done w/ aadsas? verifying and what not.

Like if I wait for 4 weeks to designate schools will they be sent immediately to the schools (around the time when my AADSAS should be verified and everything)?

I hope this makes sense...

Example: Lets say my AADSAS is verified and complete 4 weeks from today June 24. Now, if I designate 4 more schools on this date (July 24)how long do you think it would take for these 4 schools to get all the information? Would it be much slower than if I designated today instead?

I was really thinking of doing this too, but in the end, I think I'm just going to submit them all at the same time and pay now. A 1 month ~500-1000 deferment of payment is not worth it when sending it in 2 weeks earlier couldve given you the upper hand.

Then again...if you take the DAT and don't do well...that would really be a waste of 500-1000. But I still think choice one would have a greater benefit/cost than choice two.
