AADSAS Status change: mailing date 7/2/10, now my Q is..

My aadsas status now says my app will be mailed on 7/2. I took every initiative to get my app e-submitted early except for having the following:

1. Taking my DAT on next mon, 6/28
2. Waiting for 2 more LORs from professors (I requested it almost 3 months ago!)

2 questions:
1. When ADA says it takes time to send out the scores to school, that means it takes time before schools can "download" the scores electronically right?
2. Assuming that I get my LORs by early July, will schools wait to review until they get both my DAT and LORs?

I'm 99% certain that mailing date (7/2/10) is the first mailing so you're good. As for the ADA, I would assume they send out (via snail mail) official DAT score reports to the schools. Not sure about the second question.

just called AADSAS

apparently mailing out next week....which is the 2nd mailing

i guess the first mailing was THIS week, though nobody has said anything on these theads

Are you sure? Last year our status said 6/29 and then switched to 7/2. Which we later found out, 6/29 was the date it became electronically available to schools and 7/2 was the actual day they mailed your apps first round to the schools. I'm willing to put money on 7/2 being the first batch.
