AADSAS taking forever getting my transcript

I have sent the fall 2010 transcript for Academic Update and Office of Registrar said that they sent it on 12/21/10 and AADSAS still hasn't received it yet and asking me to have the school send it again.

It's really annoying, but is there anyone out there experiencing the same issue?

AADSAS is taking forever for me too. My transcript was mailed 12/22, and they still haven't marked it as received. I called AADSAS yesterday, and they said it might take 7-10 business days to process. Why are they asking you to resend it?? That worries me a little.

Okay I guess I'm not the only one. 🙂

"mailing department doesn't give us any information" I think I've heard that at least 3 times by now. Seriously???

For alot of applicants this could be a time-sensitive issue.
 
I think we need a few more AADSAS type services open for business. They're just like the DMV.

Glad I'm not the only one that is experiencing this. They didn't take this long to process my transcript when they first opened.

Me too! My transcript was mailed 12/21 and still no update. "Just give it a few more days" is what they've told me. Twice.

I think with the holiday season kicking in, a lot of employees took time off and delaying the process. Can't blame that...
 
Dec 23rd here. I guess it is just the holidays then?


I called them today and they told me to resend a transcript because "it should have been processed already"......

Question: Does academic update really make a difference in an application. For example if a candidate went summer and fall and earned 4.0 both terms could / has this ever resulted in an acceptance?

I sent one at the end of October, and another at the end of November because they "never got it" and i'm still waiting...

This is pretty ridiculous. I got mines received by AADSAS in June after just 8 (nonbusiness) days!




Did anyone send in their transcripts before xmas actually get their transcript received update these few days?

It seems like AADSAS is being slow this year in comparison http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=595556.

There's nothing to be confused about little grasshopper, AADSAS is infamous for being slow, inefficient and full of errors.

ITS SNOWING LIKE CRAZY IN MA. EVERYONE WILL CALL OUT. No one is crazy to drive in a weather like this.
 
I am in the same boat, I mailed my transcript 12/28 and still there is no update on the Aadsas website. I called them and they are not even telling me if they have receive it or not. I am kind of worried about the amount of time they are talking.
 
Finally! My transcripts were mailed 12/21 and they just posted as received 1/13/2011 on AADSAS.

its funny, I had 2 from florida sent to watertown.. and one from BU which is like 20 minutes from watertown and both from florida got there and BU's still has not got there. I just went to the registrar and had them resend it. annoying as hell!!!

Not yet.

But, under "Dental School Designations" I had a mailing date of 12/29. Now what AADSAS sent? I have no idea, but I called them to find out. I don't have any other mailing dates yet and my GPA has not been recalculated. But, it looks like things are moving along, :xf:.

They were closed yesterday due to snow storm and few other days. I called them today and they said check back on Monday.
 
Online it states that AADSAS takes 4-6 weeks to process transcripts. I also called the office and the lady said 'it will take a few weeks for my schools to receive it'

So annoying!!

actually thats the opposite, everyone here IS crazy enought to drive in the weather(and its really not that bad right now)

vwakkk..... we are not taking about today we are taking about yesterday...
 
They finally uploaded my transcript. My transcript was mailed out 12/22 or 12/23.
 
I sent mine back in Dec, around 22/23, it just got updated on AADSAS today, but under school designation, it says mailed: 12/29/2010... i am not sure what to make of all this...
 
AADSAS is seriously screwing up my app. My transcripts were sent on the 10th. I guess I won't hear anything until February.
 
I'm having the same problems, i sent in transcripts from two different schools. They got one the same week i submitted and updated it, but the second school transcript is taking forever to be received. no fun waiting
 
I called one of the schools I applied to see if I could do anything to make sure my grades were in my folder before the committee meets and they said that I could mail them a copy of my new transcripts so it is definitely worth it the worst they can say is no.
 
it snowed today 1/21 so there is a possibility that many people called out.

it snowed on Tuesday 1/18 & they had winter storm warning + ice rain
wed 1/19 was icy.

Thursday was ok.

so as you can see the weather probably has some sort of impact on how fast our au gets done.
 
I mailed my transcripts out on January 5th.... still haven't been received or processed. FML.
 
Mine was finally received and GPA calculated. Mail date is 1/26.

They honestly need to work on weekends for the days missed
 
Has anyone who mailed out the transcripts during 1st week of January gotten it updated on AADSAS?

They haven't gotten mine yet. This is frustrating. I understand there is bad weather in the NE but still... lol.
