sorry if it is mentioned already, but I am a junior and applying for 07 class. When i send my aadsas application I have ask my college to forward my transcript to them? if so, what about the classes I take after my application being already sent? Can you update that without sending ur transcript again or u do not have to do anything like this at all?
thanx everyone

Transcript updates take place after the Fall semester. You can update if you want. I didn't and I would suspect not very many people did. AADSAS sucked the first time I submitted my transcripts why would I want to send them another chance to stick it to me again. But yes you would have to send your new transcript when the Updates became availible.

thanx...but I won't have the minimum 90 credits on my transcript when i will send my application? I thought they would not even look it untill u have the minmum requirements fulfiled? say i send the updated one later after fall sem, will it delay my application and chances to get in even though I submitted my application in mid-may?

So are you applying to Dental school without a bachelors? I don't know for sure how the minimum credit thing works. However, just as long as all the pre-requisites are completed before martriculation you should be okay. Most people apply (almost all people) apply counting on their last year in undergrad to complete the requisistes and major requirements. There is a section on the application which includes "planned sessions". WHen I interviewed at a few schools after the fall semester they asked what I got in the classes and noted it in my file.

I have already finished the pre-requisites but still have to finish approx 30 credits in order to have the undergrad degree which I will do it b4 fall 2007, hopefully during summer 2007, so I can get into d-school from fall2007! or am I doing wrong? do i wait for 1 more yr? help plz...

You should be okay then. However, you should probably not count on having the summer 2007 semester. Get everything done by the end of Spring 2007. The reason I say that is because some dental schools start earlier then traditional universities. You might not have the summer semester to complete your degree. If you think you can complete everything by spring 2007 then your right on schedule. Apply this May and plan on attending dental school in the Fall of 2007.

I got it...do u think I can count atleast summer session 1?

You might, if you know what schools you would like to apply to then you can check with each of them and find out the starting date. It would be a good idea to know now so that you don't hurt yourself latter. Most of this information is readily avaible on their website.
