how regularly does aadsas update the status of your application online?

I got an email from UIC a few days ago saying they received my application, but my status online says the printout hasn't been mailed yet. so have they mailed out the application already and just haven't updated the
website? not sure how else to explain why UIC got my app already. and now i'm wondering if my other schools received it yet, because i haven't heard anything from them.

Although your application hasn't been mailed out, schools can begin viewing your application electronically the day you submit it. Many schools, however, choose to wait to insure all documents have been recieved/verified.
