Does the method explained always work? I basically realized that 2 of the alleles were going to match 100% of the time (B and E) so I made a punnet square with the other 3 (A, C, D) and came out with only 2 matching the offspring. So 2/64=1/32.. obviously not right.
I thought about doing it the way they describe in the answer explanation, but I figured that was the trap they were setting and not actually how to get the right answer.
So, does this method always work?
