AAMC and AMA

The AMA and AAMC have been releasing all kinds of statements supporting the new reforms. I was just wondering, is this a general consensus among physicians? I am soon embarking on the interview trail so just wanted to know if physicians generally support these stands or basically they have their own.

F' no it's not a general consensus. The AMA can only claim, at most, to speak for 17% of the physician population; this is prior to the membership decline that resulted from throwing us under the bus. The AAMC is a dimwit collective and has been known as such for a long time.
