For the 2025 Electronic Residency Application Service® (ERAS®) residency recruitment season, applicants who submit a rank list on January 6, 2025, will learn their match status on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from the Society of Academic Urologists (SAU). Those applicants who do not match can take part in a secondary urology match and rolling offer process to apply to urology residency programs with unfilled vacancies.

The rolling offer process will begin on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, and run until after Match Results are released on Monday, February 3, 2025. Unmatched urology applicants will be able to apply to open urology positions in this process at no cost.

The SAU, the AAMC ERAS team, and the American Urological Association (AUA) are working together to support this new secondary urology match and rolling offer process to streamline the process for applicants and programs. Resources are being developed to support you in this process. You can also learn more about the Resident Match Program on the SAU website. Be sure to check the ERAS website regularly and look for future emails with more information.

If you are applying to other specialties in addition to urology, be sure to review their specific guidance and calendars for participation. You can learn more on the ERAS website.

If you have any questions about the application process, please contact the ERAS team.

If you have any questions about the Urology Match, please contact the Match Office at +1 (410) 689-3913 or email [email protected].

Sincerely,
The SAU Board and the AAMC ERAS Team
