Log onto the Thx website. It says the "The AAMC is performing system maintenance; all Web and database services that directly support our constituents through the Internet are temporarily unavailable. This includes MCAT®, AMCAS®, Careers in Medicine, ERAS®, NRMP, FindAResident, and GMETrack among others. "

You now what that means--they're putting our scores in there!!!

Umm... would they really have to take down NRMP and everything else as well just to put up scores?
I'm betting they have taken the server down and are possibly checking to ensure it can handle the huge traffic tonight and tomorrow.

I did some "troubleshooting". They say XX, XX, XX, sites are down right now.
Go to www.aamc.org and then go to popular links and choose any of the popular links like AMCAS or anything else they listed.
Those still work.
MCAT is the only one that doesn't.

the way to tell that people are edge (myself included) is the fact that I put up this thread and it had like 10 responses in a couple of minutes.

Ok, I'm a total dork. I was in a biology lab this afternoon, and while the professor was giving a lecture, I was checking AAMC Thx on my Pocket PC and reading threads on this forum. I'm home after lab now, but I thought that this was pretty friggin' ridiculous 🙂.
