For those who have taken the AAMC practice exams and (prefferably the real thing) did you feel the difficulty of the practice exams was on par?

I ask because I decided to take one of the exams (3 to be exact) just as a diagnostic before I start studying after the holidays, and I did far far better then I expected. Just curious how others practice scores translated to real scores for the AAMC practices.

Nope, Verbal passages were longer, Physical sciences was a bit tougher, and Bio was alot tougher( more you have to draw inferences from the passage rather than just bam thats the answer).

Hope that helps!!!

PS: eventhough most ppl feel they are harder, they usually do about the same on the real thing, I was an exception

Good luck!

3 is probably the easiest of the group. my opinion.

8 is pretty hard

the real thing is harder b/c of the "experimental" passages
but aamc prepares you well.
