My reasoning for this was that the ice cube floats because it is less dense than the fluid. Thus, the concept involved is density which is mass/volume. I figured that no matter where the ice cube and fluid are, that the density would not change thus the same amount would be submerged/float.
Does this reasoning work for this problem?
