Did anyone else think that AAMC 10 was curved particularly harshly? Got 115 questions correct and only got a 30 on this exam, but got 3 more questions right on AAMC 9 and got a 33. Which do you think is more representative?

They should be scaled by the difficulty of the questions as is the case with real thing.

Typically, the later the FL, the more representative. Make sure to do a thorough review to find out why your score dropped.

I think it was just a test that was unsuited to my strengths. Just got 11/11/10 on AAMC 11. I think I'm good to go!

I haven't taken AAMC 11 yet, but I did just take 10.

I scored 2 points better than my previous exams and got a 29.

I got 10 more questions right than I did on my previous exams.

Looking at the percentage and how far down it scales, I have to agree it does seem like it's scaled a bit harshly.

I mean, it literally scaled me down 6 points.

I will probably be taking 11 tomorrow, so I am curious to see how I do in terms of how many questions I get right, which sections I do best on, and how it scales me.

I did improve on my VR by 2 points though, and I think I should be able to pull of at least 30 on the real thing, which is my goal.
