I was wondering if someone could explain this to me. I was between choice A and B. 'Im still confused with the explanation. Thanks!

First off, such a hard worker for studying on Christmas.

Second, A) it's really hard to see the question and answer choices and B) your picture doesn't even show choice B.

Third, in these instances you are given four structures and you know that it's an acid-catalyzed degradation of some complex molecule. Go through the four structures and see if you either draw or envision acid-catalyzed breakdown of those molecules. Where are the most reactive sites in each molecule?

Ha, Thanks. I'm sorry about the pictures. I'm terrible at screen shots/editing them. I was thinking since B is a bit more clustered it would be harder to attack which its why it wouldn't be correct?
