Because this year's AAO meeting falls in November, I was wondering if programs will continue to interview on the dates of the conference? Will program directors, faculty, and residents be unavailable to interview during that time?

I would very much like to attend to learn more about Ophthalmology and visit my wife's family in Las Vegas, but wouldn't want to jeopardize overlapping those dates with potential interviews. Any advice?

I suspect it's very unlikely a lot of programs will interview during this time. It's only 5 days out of the month anyway.
