The annual meeting of the American Academy of Pediatrics is in Altanta this October from the 7th to the 10th. For those of you who are med students considering pedi, this is a great and FREE way to see a lot of what pedi is about and also to talk with pedis who are both in general and specialty practice. AAP tends to be more general practice oriented whereas the spring SPR meeting is more academic oriented, but there is a lot of overlap. Actually, from my experience at AAP, there are so many freebies given out, play your cards right and you can make a profit.

In any case, I am speaking Monday and would be glad to have a get-together with any SDN students or residents who are going. I buried this request in another post before, but wanted to make it again.
