Just saw that AAPMR annual assembly is from Oct20-23.
Any ideas on whether residency programs take a break from interviewing these few days?

Many seem to since a lot of their faculty and residents will attend as well. Can't speak for every program though. It's early in the interview season though, and you have plenty of time to fit in interviews other times.
