ABA Registration and Step 3

Hi,

I am a current CA-2, I am suppose to register for the ABA Exam(2012) by the end of June before the fees go up. I haven't taken Step 3 yet, can I still register? I know I need it for the exam itself, but wasn't sure if it was needed for registration.
