hey guys! starting to freak out a little - one month out from oral boards. still When i look on ABEM main page it still says in process but shows some required LLSA and CME activities due in 2022 - think this probably means a fail since we usually have 5 years to complete them unless you didn't pass. so now im panicked!! anyone see that on their main page?

Relax, it's moving to an annual requirement and annual fee. Only those who were certified a few years ago get the 10 year certification. I recerted in 2019. In 2029 when I renew, I will have to do so every year going forward.

It doesn't mean anything definitive -- several recent grads from our program have noted the same thing. Very low chance that everyone in that pool failed since they see LLSA.

No, it does not mean you failed.

I had the same things in my portal. It is because there was what they consider a delay in when I took boards. I did not take them the first date available after I graduated residency. When this happens, you need to do additional activities (that they get to charge you extra for!) including an LLSA test and attest to some CME. It was no big deal at all.

For the year you didn’t take boards but could have, it will show those requirements until they are completed.

For the year you DO take the exam, a new LLSA/CME requirement will appear, until you pass the exam, at which time they will disappear.

no score for me yet.. think it will be out in Feb instead?

they posted the score on my portal. no email or anything. traditional ABEM style communication
