I'm an ICU attending in St. Louis, and I need a tutor/study partner for ABIM 2015. I've failed a few times already, can't fail any more. I would appreciate someone who's going to help me stay on a schedule, review, and be patient. I finished residency in 2011 and fellowship in 2014, but the boards keep me down. Let me know if you have suggestions or want to help me set up a study schedule. All input is appreciated.

Hi Helpmestudy77 - Really sorry to hear about your results and struggles. Perhaps you could share what you've used to study, how you've gone about studying and I'd be happy to give my suggestions on it. You should also post on the official ABIM thread... a lot more eyes there. Plus lots of study suggestions / tips from people there.

hi helpmestudy77,

I'm in a similar position to yours having failed a few times more than I can really afford to, and looking for a study partner for this next go round. If you are still looking, PM me for my personal email address/skype name

I am looking for a study partner as well. If you are still looking, feel free to message me.

When does the ABIM 2015 thread start?

Dear Help, Corl & Dang: Just found this thread and need a study partner, too. Am an Attending Physician and have been stymied so far. Trying to manage with family, EPIC & ABIM. Not easy to juggle.

Yes I'm also held back, just never had the time to fully study for it, didn't need it for work. Now I'm out on disability and trying to study full time, on my own, without working. Although that may sound good and I actually love learning, it's hard to just sit there and study. I'd welcome any study partner, studying for 2015 or beyond. Contact me anyone who's willing to study with someone a bit slow and rusty, but that loves medicine and learning. I'm in S.Cal, but any location fine. I'm won't take the exam until 2016, but am studying now. I'm doing Pulm and MKSAP 16 Qs, have some old Medstudy videos. Contact me if interested.

Still want a partner? Don't be discouraged, I'm in a similar situation, but am years out and don't work in the ICU. I'd love to study with you. If you didn't find someone yet, then contact me.

Just get awesome lectures books and read. You don't need anything else to pass ABIM boards.
