ABO Written Exam?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Do you mean the phase II written exam that you will take toward the end of your residency? I believe more than 90% (this is just an estimate) pass the exam. Most residents I knew didn't really spend time to study for this test. If you have ortho training from an accredited program, you should have no problem passing the exam. You will be amazed at how much you have learned during your residency. If you have time, you can go back and read some of your lecture handouts.

Everybody in our class passed the exam…..I didn't know the exact score since it was sent directly to my ortho program….. all I got were the congratulatory letter from the ABO and a bill of $75 that I have to pay every year in order to maintain my "board eligibile"status.

Look on the ABO website. I believe there are some recommended readings listed there, which include some articles.

What do the ortho residents recommend for ABO written exam study materials?
