about applying for neurology match:any advice is welcome

hello guys.
i am an img applying for neurology match for 2006.
how competitive is it?i have not worked for a year.do they accept appl. who have not done even one rotation in neurology.is it advisable to work in neuro for a year and then apply for match?i am really confused.

The question is how do you know you want to do neurology if you haven't even done one rotation?

I would think it's highly advisable that you do a neuro rotation, so you can at least get a good LOR and know if you really want to enter the field.
