Do you enter the amount of hours of the actual class or the amount of hours the university says that the class met? I had some 1 unit labs that met for 3-4 hours a week. At UCSB, I think 1 unit counted as 1 hour so should I count it as 1 hour or 3 hours?

One credit hour. Doesn't matter if you met 20 hrs a week, if it's just a one credit hour class, then that's how it's counted.
