About declaring major

hii guys,
i'm attending VCU and i want to declare my major...
i'm doing pre-pharmacy over here....
i'm confused in between...chemistry and science....
i asked my friends about BS in SCIENCE...n they say that its field for whocan't do chemistry or biology...is ist right?
n will i be able to get admission in pharmacy college with BS in SCIENCE...

Firstly, you can major in ANYTHING and still get into pharmacy school by doing the requirements. People get in with art history. Go figure.

And I saw the school website regarding majors. Which is totally weird to have a "Science" major. I'm assuming it's not as concentrated or specific as a regular Biology/Chemistry major? Hmmm.

Bottom line: Major in what you like and maybe what you feel you would enjoy more. If you're a freshman/sophomore, you still might be able to switch over since the disciplines seem relatively close.
