about lamivudine

except lamivudine resistance, is there other causes of elevate liver parenchymal enzyme in patient taking lamivudine?

and if no resistance, why the patients can still have reactivation of HBV?

patient non-compliance is a big problem. Other is some sort of immunosuppressive problems such as newly acquired HIV etc...
