Hi, I have a question about language. I am an immigrant from foreign country 8 years ago. I completed my master degree in UCLA and worked as consulter for 3 years. However, I might worry about my ansent. Do you think dental schools will be picky about this? Or do you have any friend in the same boat as me? As a new comer from foreign country, I do worry about this. Please give me some input! Thanks!

since u have been here for 8 years now, i dont think communication should be a problem for you. i think that dental school wont be too picky about someone having an accent as long as you communicate fine. dont worry too much.

As I know for Loma Linda U, I think they care maybe more about this. A classmate in Biology class last year was rejected by loma linda, because of "well communication" reason (get this info from him). He had 3.6GPA and 20 DAT. Finally, he said he will go to U of Iowa.
