I know that there are already two active threads going on right now about this but I hope someone can address my situation.
So the professors who are writing LORs for me for MD only programs are also writing it for MD/PhD programs. My PI has already told me that her letter can be used for both and other professors are doing things along the same line. My question is: are the adcoms going to be turned off if a letter recommends an applicant for both of these programs. So let's say an MD only program reads one of my letters recommending me for an MD/PhD program as well...would that be a bit awkward?
I don't know, I'm worried that it'll just feel a bit unfocused.
