Hi, guys
well.. so far I got into UB and MCPHS.
I know there are difference between 2-4 program and 0-6 program.
However, I want to make sure.
I know UB is 2-4 and MCPHS is 0-6.
But I also heard that UB has early assurance program and when I went to college fair last time, a guy from UB told me that UB doesn't require PCAT score.
I am so confused.
Tell me about UB 2-4 program and
where should I go??

Thank you.

There is really no big difference between 2-4 programs and 0-6 programs, both will usually guarantee you an interview if you keep your GPA at a certain range. Early assurance just means that they will guarantee you admission if you meet there requirements after completing your prerequisites. You need to speak to someone at the school if your not sure of the advantages or disadvantages or check their school website.

I know UB has the info about early assurance on their website. Maybe if you do early assurance you don't need the PCAT, but I know for sure you need it if you apply regular admissions as I applied there last year. It's always safest to get the info straight from the college rather than other people.

0-6 programs guarantee you a spot in their pharm class if you keep up with certain requirements. 2-4 requires you to apply to pharmacy school with no guarantees. I know UB's early assurance program is sort of like a 0-6 program, but you will need to see exactly what they require from you. If you have questions, I suggest you contact someone at the schools to help you navigate through their requirements.
