Is that proper english? Who knows?

Anyway, for our pre-medical committee, we needed at least 3 people to fill out recommendation forms for us. I sent mine out to 4 (with one possible addition). I know that only 2 of them have sent the forms back. How do I subtly remind the other 2 to get their asses in gear? Write them a thank you letter? Call them? Fire bomb?
What? I don't want to seem pushy, but I got to get this show on the road. (nice phrase)

Also, is it acceptable to include another 2 recommendation letters with the committee letter? How do you do that? Have the other 2 recommenders send their letters to the pre-med advisor?

Damn, this is all so confusing and it hasn't even started yet...

😕

An eMail or call saying "I hate to bug, but i would appreciate if you could get to my rec. as soon as you can" seemed to work for me. Most people just take a while as they think it's not too urgent. Reminding them otherwise usually works. --Trek

ditto. a phone call or e-mail reminding them of the deadline and again thanking them, is fine. they already agreed to do it, so you're good.
