About USMLE step 1 ??

Hello Everyone ,

I'm now a 3rd yr medcal std. , would it be better to do the frst step after the 3rd year ( which is also a basic yr ) or after the 6th yr ?? and why ?

You must be an IMG, because of the 6 year program. Given that fact, I strongly suggest you wait till you complete some clinical training at the very least. Step 1, despite being a basic sciences exam, is filled with clinical vignettes and scenarios, that would be difficult for an IMG with only Basic knowledge to complete properly.
