I have an interview coming up and I just had a question on what we are expected to know about the ACA and what our opinions toward it are expected to be. I think that the idea of increasing the affordability of health care is important, but I don't know how current physicians view this. Any help is appreciated thanks.

Know the basics.

What does it do, in essence? How does it affect physicians' practices? How does it affect accessibility to care? What does it mean for people who already have pre-existing coverage?
What are the big arguments?

Honestly, there's a lot that you can cover, but any quick searches on google can give you some of the major stipulations. Kaiser foundation is a good site to look at.

Also, kevinmd. com have plenty of OP Eds written by current physicians, explaining what they do and do not like about the ACA, as well as patient education on what it does for their visits and health care.

Main question I was asked was how do I feel it will affect physicians/ do I think it is a positive or negative thing.
