For those of us interested in academic emergency medicine, I thought it might be helpful if you could share your thoughts on which programs are more academically inclined.

Just about any four year program is an academic program.

Just read Annals for a year. You'll notice there are certain residency programs that churn out the articles.

Other than that, the rest is opinion (and a likely correct opinion here on SDN).
