I've scoured almost all the military threads but I haven't gotten any real definitive answers so hopefully one of you military pharmacists can help me...namely Caverject, whose name is always mentioned in those threads.
I graduated May 2011. Last time I step foot in a pharmacy setting was Dec of 2010. Since then I have had absolutely no luck in finding a pharmacist job in DE after being licensed in Nov 2011.
My GPA is a 2.86. Obviously no residencies done with a piss poor GPA. No experience as a pharmacist either.
I left a v/m with an AF health professions recruiter but I guess I shouldn't expect a call back from him since in an earlier thread, it mentioned AF was on a hiring freeze.
What is the set standard to be accepted into the military as a pharmacist? GPA? Letters of recommendation? Experience prior to?
