Third year fellow about to go for my first onsite interview to an academic job at a university.
Wondering if anyone has any advice in terms on what to expect for the first on site interview?
Do you know by the end of the first on site visit whether you are likely to get an offer?
How long does it take usually for them to decide whether they would invite you for a second visit or provide an offer?
For an academic job, how much can a graduating fellow negotiate for? I heard salary isn't something that is negotiable for an academic job. Is there something else I should consider for negotiation?
